Write a story

Write a story which begins:

When Chris saw the car parked outside his/her house, his/her heart started beating faster …

Plan your story in detail:

  • Who’s Chris?
  • How old is Chris?
  • What does he/she do?
  • What’s Chris like?
  • Whose car was that?
  • How did Chris feel when he/she saw the car? Why?
  • What did he/she do?
  • What happened in the end?

Lost in the Desert

This picture is on page 45 in your books. Last Monday we did the activity in class that consisted in imagining the story behind the picture and you came up with extraordinary stories! Now I’d like you to write down those amazing stories and send them as comments to this post. And if you missed last monday’s lesson you can have a try now:

  • who’s this man?
  • how did he end up in the middle of the desert?
  • what might/ must have happened?

Blogging again!

Well, here we are again! It’s been 2 years since I last wrote here and I think I’ve missed it. We’ll keep our Facebook groups as a complement but we won’t be using the Moodle course any more. They are moving to a new hosting and they won’t be back until March so  we must forget about it. I think the Facebook groups are all right for sharing links and posting messages quickly and easily but in order to keep a more organized archive of activities and resources I think we’ll come back to my old blog.

Welcome to Bloggin’ away and I hope you enjoy it!
